Built for Shops That Don't Stop.

The Seismo line is DTF Station's heavier-duty powder shaker and dryer range — the machines specified in the Prestige XL2, XL2 Pro, XL3, XL4 and X6 production bundles. Where the Miro line covers desktop through production, Seismo is built for continuous multi-shift running.

Printed film feeds directly from the printer, gets an even powder application across full width, excess is vibrated clear, and the adhesive cures — one automated pass, no operator standing over a powder tray.

The Range

Model What it's for
Seismo S20 Entry powder station. The lowest-cost route out of hand-powdering.
Seismo L16R 16" heavy-duty shaker and dryer for sustained 13"–16" production.
Seismo L24R 24" heavy-duty shaker. The machine bundled with the XL2, XL2 Pro, XL3 and XL4.
Seismo V36R 36" shaker matched to the Prestige X6.

Miro or Seismo?

Both automate powder and cure. The Miro line is the lighter-duty, lower-cost option and is the right answer for most shops running one shift. Seismo is built for heavier continuous duty — it's what DTF Station specifies when a machine is expected to run all day, every day, behind a multi-head printer. If you're buying a 24" printer and plan to run it hard, the L24R is the more durable choice; if you're running moderate volume, the Miro 24 does the same job for less money.

What a Shaker Actually Fixes

  • Even coverage — consistent powder across full width on every sheet, not operator-dependent.
  • Clean excess removal — controlled vibration prevents adhesive haze around designs.
  • Repeatable cure — controlled temperature and dwell instead of guessing at oven timing.
  • Labour — print-to-cured-film runs unattended.
  • Adjustable process control — belt speed, shake power, cooling and suction are all tunable.

Consumables and Maintenance

Seismo A16 and A24 machines use a HEPA replacement filter, which we stock. Filters are wear items — running them clogged degrades cure consistency and shortens machine life. Ask us to set a replacement cadence based on your actual run hours.

Color Gamut Consulting Support

Cure temperature and dwell change final colour density and hand-feel. A profile built against under-cured film won't hold once the shaker is properly dialled in — which is why we build your ICC profile against the powder and cure settings you actually run, rather than a generic assumption. On a production line, that's the difference between colour that matches across shifts and colour that drifts.

Important Notes

  • Match width to your printer. A shaker narrower than your printed output makes full-width printing impossible.
  • Freight: ships freight. Confirm dock or liftgate access.
  • Full model-by-model specifications: being confirmed with DTF Station and will be added shortly. Ask us for exact dimensions, power and throughput before ordering a specific model.
