Sandpaper Texture DTF Finishing Sheet – 20" x 20" Sheet
In Stock in Arizona!
Give Your DTF Prints a Screen Print Texture
This sandpaper-texture finishing sheet is built to mimic the look and feel of a screen print. A quick second press presses a fine, even texture into the transfer and pushes the ink and design deeper into the fabric, so your DTF prints have the surface and soft hand that customers expect from screen printing.
Why this sheet
- Screen print look and feel. A fine sandpaper texture gives DTF transfers a matte surface that reads like screen printing.
- Softer hand feel. The second press drives the ink and design deeper into the fabric, so the finished print feels softer and more like part of the garment.
- Oversized 20" x 20" on purpose. It's big enough to fully cover a 16" x 20" platen, with extra around the edges so you can attach it to your heat press with magnets or heat-resistant tape and leave it there. Most finishing sheets are A3 (11.7" x 16.5"). This one has more than twice the area.
- Built to take abuse. We tested it pressed folded over on itself and at very high temperatures for long dwell times, and it didn't break down.
- Reusable. One sheet, press after press.
Two ways to use it
Attached to your press (recommended): Mount the sheet to your upper platen with magnets or heat-resistant tape. Since it's heating along with the platen, keep your temperature at whatever you normally run.
As a removable second-press sheet: Lay it over the design for the second press only. Raise your temperature 5–10°F above your normal setting, because it takes a moment for heat to fully pass through a sheet that wasn't already hot.
How to press
- Press your DTF transfer as usual and peel the film.
- Second press with the sheet's textured side against the design.
- Press for 5–10 seconds with medium to firm pressure.
- Open the press to see the screen print texture.
Want a heavier texture? Add a little more pressure or time. Or use it for both presses.
What's included
- 1 Sheet: one 20" x 20" finishing sheet
- 2 Sheets: two 20" x 20" finishing sheets, one for the press and a spare (or one for each press)
