You're Breathing the Cure Cycle.

Curing hot-melt adhesive releases fumes and fine particulate. Powder shaking puts polyurethane dust into the air. In a small shop with the door closed, that accumulates — and the people breathing it are you and your staff, eight hours a day.

This is the piece of equipment nobody budgets for and everybody should. A fume extractor pulls contaminated air at the source, filters it, and returns it clean.

Two Sizes

Model For
L2 Fume Extractor Single-station setups — a desktop printer with an oven, or up to L24R Shaker
L4 Fume Extractor Higher capacity for larger shakers, wider machines, or a station running continuously like the V36

Filters Are the Whole Product

An extractor with saturated filters moves air and removes nothing. Filters are consumable and they have a real service life. We stock:

  • Replacement filter for Purifier MINI and L2 Fume Extractor
  • HEPA replacement filter for Seismo A16 and A24
  • Three-layer replacement sets for the Aries 213/124 purification system — dust, carbon and cold catalyst layers

Set a replacement schedule based on run hours, not on when performance is visibly bad — by then you've been breathing unfiltered air for a while. Ask us to work out a cadence for your usage.

A Straight Recommendation

If you're buying a powder shaker and trying to decide whether to add extraction, add it. It's a small fraction of the shaker's price, and respiratory exposure is not a problem you can retroactively fix. The Seismo L24R and V36R bundles include an L2 for exactly this reason.

Important Notes

  • Not a substitute for room ventilation in a fully enclosed space.
  • Filters are consumable — budget for replacements.
  • Full specifications — airflow rate, filtration stages, power draw, noise level — are being confirmed with DTF Station and will be added shortly.
